Thanks to its lightweight 8.6 oz construction and foldable design, the X8 Mini Pro can fit easily into a backpack for on-the-spot filming for up to 31 minutes at a time. Even with its small size, it can handle environmental challenges with Level 5 resistance of winds from 20 to 24 mph. When it comes time to recharge the included battery, you don’t have to worry about proprietary ports or bulky charging hubs. It features a USB-C interface and supports 9V/3A rapid charging with a USB-C power adapter (not included).

Controlling the drone and viewing a stable live video stream from the X8 Mini Pro is conveniently done via your smartphone and the included remote, which utilizes a 2nd gen TDMA image transmission system. The remote delivers comfortable gamepad-style control from up to 5 miles away, or via 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi, you can use your smartphone by itself from up to 328′ away. A host of imaging modes, tracking, and safety features round out the X8 Mini Pro’s capabilities, making it a convenient and enjoyable piloting experience for beginners and professionals.

While you can fly the X8 Mini Pro manually, automated flight modes can make it easier to achieve professional results. AI smart tracking modes can lock onto and follow a subject automatically, and the flight plan function lets you plot out specific and complex tracking shots.

Enhancing the 4K video abilities of the X8 Mini Pro are a series of shooting options that provide you with more creative options for video capture. The time-lapse function takes advantage of the X8 Mini Pro’s stability and wind resistance for precise time-lapse videos. You can shoot aerial footage and live stream it on popular social media platforms. Create immersive panoramic images and crisp, detailed night shots. Night shooting uses the Hisilicon AI algorithm to reduce noise while capturing more detail.
