XDynamics Astra Mirrorless Gimbal Camera for EVOLVE 2

The Astra Mirrorless Gimbal Camera for EVOLVE 2 from XDynamics is a 12MP Sony IMX299 Micro Four Thirds WDR CMOS sensor stored inside a mirrorless housing smoothly controlled by a 3-axis brushless gimbal. Ideally suited for aerial filmmakers and cinematographers, a variety of lightweight mirrorless lenses can be used, by makers such as Panasonic and Olympus. Up to 4000 x 3000 stills and 4K120 slow-motion video can be recorded onto optional microSD Class 10+ or CFAST 2.0 cards.

With 13 stops available, the MFT system can achieve a high dynamic range in nearly any lighting condition. Even low-light filming with minimal noise is possible with large 4.63μm pixels. In addition, the camera uses an integrated sensor and precise tuning to avoid oversaturation of colors and produce a natural look to your videos and images similar to film. Various film textures are also possible with the Astra, thanks to support for multiple 3D LUTs, such as vintage Kodachrome or a classic bleach bypass. Everything you shoot can be encoded in H.264/H.265 or Apple ProRes, which supplies professional post-production editing capabilities.
