When connecting to a compatible TV via HDMI ARC/eARC, the SR-X50A uses Dolby Atmos up-firing speakers and Yamaha True Sound technology to envelope you in sound from the latest video games, streaming video, and Blu-ray discs. Play your music wirelessly with integrated Bluetooth and Airplay 2 and access Spotify connect and Tidal connect through the dedicated Yamaha app for mobile devices. Control the system and adjust the settings with the included remote, free mobile app for iOS and Android, or with Amazon Alexa. The True X Bar 50A system works well on its own, or complete the surround sound setup with Yamaha True X wireless speakers (sold separately) as rear left and right channels.

Yamaha True Sound

By fusing acoustic technology from musical instrument development and electronic technology from professional audio applications, Yamaha delivers True Sound straight to your home. The True X Bar 50A has been engineered for True Sound optimization. Everything from the rear chamber to the uniquely designed bass reflex port to the fabric were chosen for their ability to reproduce delicate nuances in sound.

Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos enhances the listening experience by adding a height channel to give the impression of sound coming from above you. The SR-X50A sound bar is a 2.1.2-channel design which consists of left and right front speakers, dual built-in subwoofers, and left and right up-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. The precision-crafted speaker drivers and advanced audio reproduction technology employed by the SR-X50A, combined with Dolby Atmos, create a sound field that envelops and transports you deeper into your favorite TV shows, movies, games, and music.

Bass Extension

The SR-X50A incorporates dual built-in 3″ subwoofer units in addition to the 6.3″ wireless subwoofer. The Bass Extension feature enhances any bass signal to ensure a rich and powerful sound.

Wireless Surround Ready

Discover a revolutionary new crossover in sound when combining the True X Bar 50A with True X wireless surround speakers (sold separately). The True X Series brings together the cinematic immersion of Dolby Atmos for your TV with the freedom of portable speakers you can take anywhere, at the touch of a button. The True X bars connect wirelessly to the surround True X speakers, which can be put anywhere in your room. The True X wireless speakers also function as portable Bluetooth speakers. The SR-X50A gives you several ways to customize the sound to your content and personal taste. Choose from four Sound Modes, adjust the subwoofer level with an independent control on the remote, and dial in the EQ just the way you like it using tone controls in the mobile app. With four different sound modes, you can match the sound to your content and mood. Stereo mode works great for music and podcasts. Standard mode is ideal for TV programs. Try Game mode to immerse yourself in your latest battle, and use Movie mode to create an expansive theater experience.
